Ramanata Crisna Pai Raikar Education Society has started the first school in agriculture in the State of Goa at Savoi Verem, Ponda – Goa. Ramanata Crisna Pai Raikar School of Agriculture has been granted approval for conducting 10 + 2 Higher Secondary course by the Directorate of Education vide their letter No. DE/VOC/706/RCPRS/2012-13/1578 dated 18/2/2013.
The Goa Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has granted Affiliation to the Board and recognition for Certificate Course and the approval of syllabus for Standard XIth and XIIth vide their letter GBSHSE/ACAD/RECOG/73 dated 09/01/2013.
The classes commenced from 10th June 2013 and have two batches with combined student strength of 32. The inauguration was attended by Prof. Subhash Velingkar, an eminent educationist and Shri. Satish Tendulkar Director of Agriculture, Government of Goa. The parents and students enthusiastically participated in the inaugural function. Prof. Velingkar commended the Promoters and said that this school fulfilled the long standing need of the State. He highlighted the importance of agriculture and appealed to the students to make the best use of the education provided and also revive agriculture as career option. Mr. Satish Tendulkar highlighted the opportunities available in this field.

Mr. Chintamani Perni Asst. Director, Department of Agriculture inaugurated the Parent Teacher Association on 29th June 2013. In the interaction held thereafter he answered various queries put forward by the parents. He also assured to provide guidance and technical support to the Institution. The following Parent Teacher Association Committee was elected for the year 2013- 14.

The PTA decided to conduct various programmes to support the school activities. Dr. Shrirang B. Kadrekar , Ex. Vice Chancellor of Dapoli Krishi Vidyapeeth and the chief mentor of RCPR School of Agriculture visited the school and interacted with the staff and students. He addressed the students and congratulated the students for choosing a career in agriculture. He promised his full support and guidance to the school. He appreciated the infrastructure created for the school and remarked that it was one best he had seen amongst the agricultural school.

Gurupurnima was celebrated on 22nd July 2013 in the school premises. Prof. Minanath Upadhye was the chief guest of the function. He highlighted the importance of the role played by the teacher in the life of an individual. He also inaugurated the Students Council for the year 2013-14. The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the school was also inaugurated on the same day at the hand of Shri Satyawan Palkar, sarpanch of Savoi Verem along with Shri. Mohan Verenkar, Panch member. They guided the students on the importance of NSS and the necessity to do hard work to achieve their goals. They assured the School of the support of the Village panchyat .On behalf of the School Mr Shrirang Jambhle ,promised to landscape the Village garden and maintain it as a part of their NSS activity.
Mr Manguirish Pai Raiker ,Chairman of the Society and Mrs Varsha Pai Raiker were present at all the above functions .
